Search Peter Spiegel or Katie Williams and a cluster of glossy “spiritual journey” websites rises to meet you. They were bought in batches of seconds and built to sit on top of the one story their owners would rather you not read. Here is the machine, and the timeline that gives it away.

Type the name of the man who signed the child-molester’s bond into a search bar and you do not land on the court file. You land on Peter Spiegel Impressed with the Spiritual Harmony at Barsana Dham. Type his business partner’s name and you get Katie Williams Explores History, Culture and Spirituality. These are not news articles. They are purpose-built websites, registered to the exact search terms a curious customer would use, filled with AI-style travel-brochure prose, and put on the internet for one job: to be found instead of the conviction, the bond, and the flight.
The registration record is where a reputation operation stops looking organic. Three domains built on Peter Spiegel’s name, ending in .com, .org, and .net, were registered within three seconds of one another. The three built on Katie Williams’ name were registered within seven seconds of each other, through the same registrar, onto the same hosting block. Human beings do not fill out domain-purchase forms one second apart; automated batch jobs do. And the waves do not track the criminal case. They track the business: the Spiegel pair went up in 2023 and the Williams trio in 2025, twelve and fourteen years after the 2011 conviction, in the years the company was scaling its podcast advertising. The purchases answer a commercial need, not a legal one.
The batch signature, three eras
Three clusters, three moments of exposure, the same automated fingerprint each time. The oldest wave, in 2013, did not bury anyone; it went on the offensive, standing up two blogs three days apart, one of them named for the district attorney who won the conviction, to reframe a jury verdict as the persecution of a holy man. The later waves changed tactics from attack to burial, but the hand is recognizably the same.

The cover-domains needed content, and the content came from two authors who do not appear to be people. One, a third-person “writer” persona, published eight posts between 2023 and 2025. The other, bylined in the first person as Peter Spiegel himself, published ten. Every one of the eighteen posts does the same work: it wraps AirDoctor, AquaTru, or the fragrance line AromaTru inside a story about Spiegel’s spiritual awakening at the ashram, converting the man’s most dangerous association into brand copy. The first post in the whole campaign is titled AirDoctor Founder Peter Spiegel on How Spirituality Steered His Entrepreneurial Journey.
That the two personas are one operator is not a guess. They published on the very same three days, months apart, an editorial calendar no two independent writers would share by accident. Whoever runs the “writer” account also runs the account that speaks in Spiegel’s own voice. Whether that is Spiegel, a staffer, or a vendor writing as him is not something the public record shows.

The most telling thing about the network is how carefully it is kept apart from itself. Each cover-site carries its own isolated analytics account, so no shared tracking number links them. None of them link to each other, or to the Medium personas, or to AirDoctor and AquaTru; the pages do not even mention the products in their body text. And when the sites’ tracking tags are resolved back to their source, they share no identifier at all with airdoctorpro.com, aquatru.com, or idealliving.com. The burial network was kept entirely separate from the company’s own accounts.
That firewall cuts both ways. It is the professional signature of a paid, compartmentalized reputation job, the kind built to survive exactly this sort of examination. It is also the reason the operator cannot be named from the outside, and the reason there is no technical thread tying the network to Ideal Living’s corporate hand. What is proven is the function, not the invoice: the entire apparatus exists to change what the internet says about two people, and the two people are the CEO and CFO of a public air-and-water brand. The care taken to hide who built it is the part the record does not explain.

In fairness. Buying domains in your own name and publishing flattering material about yourself is entirely legal, and search-reputation management is an ordinary business service. Nothing here shows that Ideal Living, Peter Spiegel, or Katie Williams personally commissioned or directed this network; the operator is unidentified, and the technical evidence in fact separates the sites from the company’s own accounts. The cover-sites bury by adding glossy content, not by publishing falsehoods. Everyone named is entitled to the presumption of innocence, and the only person referenced who has been convicted of anything is Prakashanand Saraswati.
The record the network sits on top of is not in dispute: a jury conviction on twenty counts, a $10 million bond signed by the man who now sells clean air, a flight across the border. That story is fifteen years old. The websites built to keep you from finding it are the new thing, and they were bought in the last three years, one second at a time.
